Founded in 2013, The Australasian Society of Cosmetic and Procedural Dermatologists (ASCPD) is a key industry business unit providing education, continued professional development and training to current, practicing and established dermatologists, trainees, nurses, aesthetic physicians and dermal therapists within Australia and New Zealand.
The ASCPD is governed by a subcommittee of the CDE Board, chaired by Professor Greg Goodman AM.
Our work is dedicated towards delivering consistent upskilling of Australia and New Zealand’s dermatology workforces, supported by expert advice, key stakeholders and education. The complexities surrounding skin health, coupled with ongoing research and new findings are key to ensuring all members of this industry are equipped with the most relevant knowledge and skills to provide patients.
Our mission is to foster, equalise access and improve training in cosmetic dermatology for all Australasian dermatologists and registrars and, more broadly, to share dermatologists’ expertise with other disciplines and health care professionals.
The ASCPD Board comprises professionals who lead and define our approach towards consistent training, education programs and events.
